Coventry Best 4 Business

The Coventry Best for Business board has agreed that the process of electing new members to the board will start in June, and elections - which will be at a later date - will be held independently, through the Electoral Reform Society.

We also agreed, as promised, to list all proposed completion dates of wireless connectivity, through our website. In addition to this agreement we will also give a brief overview of the project to date. This will be available at www.coventryb4b.co.uk from May 8, 2009.

This will show BID members when they can expect to be connected on their industrial estate or business park to the wide-area network. These dates are based upon information provided to us by Coventry City Council and its contractor, who are currently undertaking the infrastructure work.  Any changes to dates will subsequently be posted on the website.

The board also had initial discussions about a possible re-ballot on the BID's budget. These talks are ongoing and we will inform levy payers when the situation progresses.
